The Moscow branch of SPbGUP held the "Move Forward" chess tournament, in which full-time students of the branch participated. The tournament results were as follows: 3rd place was taken by second-year student P.M. Bukhovka (Management program), 2nd place by N.D. Zachesov, a second-year student (Conflictology program), and the winner of the tournament was A.S. Smolov, a third-year student (Applied Informatics program).
The tournament judge was S.V. Krupenin, a lecturer at the Moscow branch of SPbGUP.
Background:
The "Move Forward" chess tournament is held annually at the Moscow branch of SPbGUP in blitz format. Participants include members of chess clubs, schoolchildren, and college students.
