On February 26, the "Institute of Arts and Information Technologies" hosted an interesting meeting with one of the founders of the fintech startup, the investment application "Dubrovsky" - Sergey Zamolotskikh, as part of the "Applied Informatics" Specialty Day.
One of the leading managers of IT companies, a specialist with extensive experience in the stock market, introduced students to the current situation in the field of financial technologies in our country and abroad. Sergey Alexandrovich spoke in detail about the new investment platform "Dubrovsky", whose creation was inspired by the American trading application "Robinhood".
The "Dubrovsky" project is aimed at a young audience that is not afraid to try new products, including in the IT technology market. The investment application allows beginners with no experience in securities trading to learn stock operations from scratch.
During the product presentation, a serious conversation about the advantages and disadvantages of "Dubrovsky" developed between the respected speaker and 1st-year students of the "Applied Informatics" program. Burykin N. and Eliseev N., showing active interest in the topic and having some investment experience, helped the developers identify weak and vulnerable points in the application during the discussion.
The meeting was intense and very interesting.
