Using Maternity (Family) Capital to Pay for Tuition Fees
If you are among those entitled to use Maternity (Family) Capital funds for education and wish to exercise this right, you must:
1. Prepare the required set of documents for paying tuition with Maternity Capital to be submitted to the local branch of the Pension Fund of Russia at your place of residence:
– Maternity Capital Certificate;
– Compulsory Pension Insurance Certificate (of the Maternity Capital recipient, i.e., the person to whom the Maternity Capital is issued);
– Passport or other documents confirming the identity and place of residence of the Maternity Capital holder;
– Application for directing Maternity Capital funds towards the child's education (filled out at the Pension Fund);
– Paid Educational Services Agreement concluded with MF SPbGUP;
– Copy of the Paid Educational Services Agreement;
– Copy of the university's State Accreditation Certificate with its annex (certified copies can be purchased at MF SPbGUP).
2. Submit the required set of documents, signed by MF SPbGUP, to the Pension Fund or the Multifunctional Center at your place of residence;
Please note: processing documents for payment via Maternity Capital requires additional time – please do not submit your documents in the final days of the application period.
